When David was a young child, he saw his first live theatre production. Then and there, he knew he wanted to be involved in the creative process. Since that time, he has gone on to write original musicals, help develop websites and publications, guided companies to understand their audiences and, met a some really amazing people along the way. By age 17 he was staging a Tony Award winning actor in a production of "The Apple Tree." Just out of college, he was working with international theater companies at the New Orleans World's Fair. There he met Jim Henson and almost had to tell him that a group of rare and irreplaceable puppets from Italy had been lost somewhere between Italy and New Orleans. Before an international incident occurred, the puppets were found, safely packed near the stage!
For Chuck E. Cheese, David created original characters and character voices for television commercials and personal appearances. He's a past president of the Puppet Arts Center of Virginia, has taught for Puppeteers of America, and is co-founder of the Virginia Festival of Puppet Ministry and Creative Arts. As a tap teacher, his students have gone on to professional careers with the Radio City Rockettes and on Broadway. It's while teaching tap that he met his future wife Marcy. They are the parents of two creative and active boys. When they are not busy studying or playing soccer, they are puppeteers with their parents. By the way, one plays the piano, the other the guitar... Is it any wonder? David's cd's are available at cdbaby.com and many other locations...
